JOIN THE 1907 CLUB
The 1907 Club is a new fundraising community that empowers Members to take part in the improvement of our Club, whilst allowing you to win monthly prizes along the way.
Members of The 1907 Club are entered into a monthly prize draw where 50% of the participating members fees are split into 3 prizes and paid to winners drawn at random by the Club Secretary. That's not all! Members of The 1907 Club will contribute to a fundraising pot reserved for improvement projects around the club, on the course, practice facilities or in the Clubhouse. These activities are specifically proposed and voted on directly by members of the fundraising community and the pot value shared via a monthly email.
What could you win?
Example scenario for ~200 Members, per the rules of our old 200 Club: £300 to the monthly winner, with two £100 runners up. The other 50% of fees raised (£500 in this example) go directly into the improvement fund.
Over the course of a year, this could generate £6,000. This fund will also be topped up by The Joker competition run in the Clubhouse and any other fundraising initiatives launched by The 1907 Club throughout the seasons.
Whilst this will not replace improvement and investment organised by The Committee, it has also been agreed that the Club will match fund the portion of fees raised for the improvement fund, (i.e £500 per month from the above example) which would mean that Members of The 1907 Club can propose and vote for significant improvement projects within the first year and have an extra incentive to join.
How to Join?
Club & Social Members can join The 1907 Club for just £5 per month, paid monthly, which can be arranged with the Club Secretary in person or online by setting up a standing order and emailing Linda.
